Founded in 2005, The Duncan Academy (TDA) is a boutique private high school in Ontario, fully accredited and licensed by the provincial Ministry of Education. With an experienced and passionate faculty and well-established programs, TDA serves both local Toronto students and international students. As an officially recognized educational institution, TDA is authorized to grant the credits required for the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Upon completing 30 credits, including 18 compulsory courses prescribed by the Ministry, students are awarded the OSSD. Our five integrated pathways are built around the Duncan Individual Growth Plan, focusing on each student's academic success and long-term personal development. Through our signature arts program and AP/IB curriculum, which provide pathways to leading universities in the United States, as well as our partner online school and after-school support ecosystem, TDA delivers a comprehensive and distinctive educational experience.
Our professional team provides academic and university advising services that help families plan ahead and navigate each stage of the educational journey with confidence. Through Duncan SIS, our modern and user-friendly student information management system, parents can access clear and up-to-date information about every milestone in their child's academic progress. TDA also offers a homestay program to help international students transition smoothly to life in Canada, providing a safe, supportive, and stable environment in which they can focus on their studies.
